- I studied the teachings of spiritual entities such as Bashar (channeled by Darryl Anka), Kryon (channeled by Lee Carroll), and Abraham (channeled by Esther Hicks), to name just a few;
- I consumed information (mostly YouTube videos) posted online by others that channel spiritual messages. These messages really started to intrigue me when they began to say uncannily detailed things that were happening in my life. For example, while listening to a message one day, I decided to open another window on my computer to check my lottery numbers. As I was doing that, the message said, "If you were going to win the lottery, don't you think you would have won by now?" That sent chills down my spine, but after the initial shock wore off, I knew I was being lovingly guided and supported. I derived tremendous comfort from unseen energies through these messages--they were always validating what I was feeling and experiencing during my awakening process; and
- I attended spirituality-related workshops (offered by Marianne Williamson, among others), took sprituality-related courses (such as Jim Self's Mastering Alchemy), and did spirituality-related webinars (such as Lauren Galey's Quantum Conversations).
